CLOSED: Coliseum Nightclub

The Colosium has closed. Supposedly they are going to build condos there, but I've heard it just had too many lawsuits. Oh well.

This is definitely Ft. Laud's best gay/bi/whatever nightclub to go dancing---and trippin'---if thats your scene. Its HUGE and the DJs are great. Though the music is a bit too loud and the place is way too dark. Always packed to the hilt, especially on Saturday nights. Be warned that the crowd is a bit on the flakey side, and almost everyone is high on something. Definitely not the place to go looking for your next boyfriend, but a great place to dance and have fun with friends.

This place, though it looks awesome on the inside, is filled with over pruned, over plucked, can tanned guys high on various narcotics. If you are a druggie, this is the place for you. The music was great for dancing, but the people left a LOT to be desired. Pretentious plastic guys that were no where near as hot as they though they were, taking off their shirt while you wished they would put them back on.

what a combination. Kids on drugs all sucking lolly pops, if they aren't passed out up on the balcony floor.
