My BF and I loved the Bar on Castro. The place is not big, but the crowd was fun, the bartenders were attractive and made good drinks + they had a room up front where my boyfriend could smoke.

It's junk. Bad quality all around. I'm embarassed to have it in my neighborhood.

Great, small space with STRONG long islands and a good mix to the crowd. Will def go back when visiting SF again.

Small, but cool, Sunday eves is R&B/Hip-hop, old school, good music to dance to, or just sit back and get a quiet groove on. Bar staff is friendly not stuck up, and the smoking area is up front so you can see who's comin' in

Not many spots can bring together such a diverse crowd as the Bar on Castro can. You're bound to see a little bit of everything, and have fun while doing it. This is one instance when seeing is definitely believing!

Honestly, if you are on the way to SF, forget about this crappy bar. It stinks, it's small and has no sense of space. The music couldn't be any worst!

I really like the Bar. It is a great place for Happy Hour. There are always cute boys and good music. The staff is really cool. They also have a smoking area.

This is a great bar in the Castro. Sexy bar staff, good drinks, cute guys, and great DJ's with a style that sets it apart from most other bars in the Castro. Definitely worth checking out!

Great music, cute boys, what more can you ask for. Busiest on weekend nights. There's an open area in the front (sorta half indoors and half outdoors) which is a great place to hangout with friends even during the day!

This is one of the few bars that has a covered smoking area.
