Not a great name (IMHO) and not a great sign either -- it's a crazy, rainbow-striped circus tent. My guess is that the interior won't be understated elegance. While it is true that other bars have taken some of the slack, I miss a place for us to call our own. I've heard rumors they are trying to get rid of the old clientele by keeping the place closed for such a long time. If that is true someone needs to start a letter-writing campaign with the mayor's office. The gay community has a lot to answer to when it comes to diversity in San Francisco.
